osCommerce. How to remove Manufacturers from product listing and product details page

Hello! This video tutorial shows how to remove Manufacturers from product listing and product details page in your osCommerce store.

The tutorial assumes you are already logged into your ocCommerce admin panel.

Let’s learn how to remove Manufacturers from the product listing and product details page.

1. Go to Modules ->Boxes tab:

   

2. On the appeared screen locate the Manufacturers module, click on its title and click on “Edit” button on the right hand side to configure the module:

   

3. When the module configuration section is open, on the right hand side uncheck the categories_listing.php file option:

   

Click “Save” button at the bottom of the module configuration section.

Open the product listing page and refresh it to see the changes. We can see Manufacturers is successfully removed.

In order to remove Manufacturers from the product details page, you should repeat the same procedure and uncheck the product_info.php file option under Manufacturers module configuration section. Do not forget to click “Save” button to apply changes:
